Tears Unnumbered - Uldor by Meisiluosi Tears Unnumbered - Uldor by Meisiluosi
Silence before the stor... I mean battle.
And Uldor.
(And a small Caranthir in the background.)

I am not *quite* satisfied with how this turned out, but given the fact that I haven't drawn anything worthwhile in ages, I'm quite happy that I at least started and *finished* something. Yay!

Oh, I see. (I previously saw the coloured version.) The whiteness produces a cold, icy quality which I like very much.

Interesting style - the lines are so organic and soft.
That's how an Easterling should look like. =D Really great work!

His expression is so shifty. It's wonderful.

Is it? :-) Then it's a major fail, for I sorta aimed for an expression a lot less sinister. :-)
(But maybe it's simply kind of blank so we all project what we want into it...:-))
Thanks, in any event...! :-))

Woops! I bet it is me projecting what I think about his character. It's hard not to.

I bet we can both agree, however, that the detail you used is amazing,.

This is terrific! I love the horse, and the epxression on his face. The armour, as everyone else says, is wonderful. The detail and function of it is great - and the very proud-looking Caranthir is a nice touch too.

Ive always enjoyed Silarillion Art, expecially art that portrays little known characters.

I really enjoy the detail and I like the way you portray ethnicity;
Uldor LOOKS like an Easterling be it Middle Eastern or Asian.

GOD bless

wow. what medium is this? amazing! love the inky quality to it. the detail is AMAZING! The man on horse in the foreground looks exhausted, very battle-worn. I love how this is black and white, makes it more intense.

It's mostly black marker pen and mechanical pencil.
