I am not *quite* satisfied with how this turned out, but given the fact that I haven't drawn anything worthwhile in ages, I'm quite happy that I at least started and *finished* something. Yay!

Oh, I see. (I previously saw the coloured version.) The whiteness produces a cold, icy quality which I like very much.

Is it? :-) Then it's a major fail, for I sorta aimed for an expression a lot less sinister. :-)
(But maybe it's simply kind of blank so we all project what we want into it...:-))

This is terrific! I love the horse, and the epxression on his face. The armour, as everyone else says, is wonderful. The detail and function of it is great - and the very proud-looking Caranthir is a nice touch too.

Ive always enjoyed Silarillion Art, expecially art that portrays little known characters.

I really enjoy the detail and I like the way you portray ethnicity;
Uldor LOOKS like an Easterling be it Middle Eastern or Asian.

wow. what medium is this? amazing! love the inky quality to it. the detail is AMAZING! The man on horse in the foreground looks exhausted, very battle-worn. I love how this is black and white, makes it more intense.
