It's very easy to see from this image why the dubbed Uldor 'The Accursed' for not only did he gift Morgoth renewed dominion over Beleriand by the act of treachery that upset the balance of Tears Unnumbered, but this image also implies that he went against the wishes of his own heart to honour his obligations to Morgoth, faithlesss and accursed - for which he has my pity, but not my sympathy.
i expected the easterlings to look more asian.
I tend to imagine them as quasi central asian - that's a fairly broad category. This, for example, should be Turkic/Mongolic inspired, with a fair infusion of mid-Eastern features and elements. To me, that's Asian enough - but maybe he comes across as rather Arabic/Semitic looking. It's the nose, I guess.
Its a nice and touching picture so much emotions on both the riders and horses face.
It's exactly how I imagined how Easterlings may look like.
Amazing stuff and lvl of detail I see your art is still rocking hard like it used to. beautiful armor etc.
I love the colours too. A very nice picture.
I love the limited colours in this (:
Southrons? Haradrim? Lolwut?
Nah, if memory serves, these are First Age Easterlings, aka "Swarthy Men". Uldor was of the House of Ulfang and betrayed the Noldor for Morgoth. Another Easterling House remained loyal.
Very cool. that armour is sweet.
Wow, I love all the details, shading and the textures
This is lovely. The detail on the armour is fantastic and I love the colours. Wonderful work!
Looking great, too, but the b&w variant better for details admiration. Though I imagined they were different than they really are seeing the colour version - like leather instead of metal etc. Great to see both variants
